Oracle unveils AI analytics & assistant for Fusion cloud

Wed, 15th Oct 2025

Oracle has introduced an AI Assistant and a range of new AI-powered analytics features for Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence to help businesses derive value from enterprise data more efficiently.

The updated capabilities are designed to enhance analytics across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, including modules for enterprise resource planning, performance management, human capital management, and customer experience.

"The new Oracle Analytics AI Assistant allows users to engage in a dialog with their data and a system that understands their specific business context across all Fusion Data Intelligence applications," said T.K. Anand, Executive Vice President at Oracle. "Our continued investment in expanded coverage of functional areas across Oracle Fusion Applications will further enrich the depth and breadth of data-driven insights provided by Fusion Data Intelligence."

The newly revealed AI Assistant is integrated into Oracle Analytics Cloud. It allows users to interact with business data through contextual, natural-language conversations, aiming to provide insights that go beyond standard dashboard metrics. The Assistant also delivers AI-generated dataset descriptions to make it easier for users to prepare and explore their data.

Among the planned enhancements is an integration between Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Fusion Data Intelligence. This integration enables finance teams to consolidate planning, financial closing, and other financial processes, eliminating the need for manual data transfers and allowing analytics on large-scale finance and planning datasets in a unified environment.

New benchmarking abilities will provide companies with peer-to-peer data comparisons in areas such as attrition, team composition, and recruitment. These benchmarks are intended to support operational efficiency by allowing leaders to compare performance and practices internally and identify areas for improvement based on industry best practices.

Oracle's planned updates also include expanded skills analytics. These tools help business leaders identify workforce skills gaps, redeploy underutilised talent, and drive upskilling or reskilling initiatives where needed. The analytics will allow managers and HR teams to see where skills are missing or at risk of shortage across the organisation, supporting proactive workforce management.

Benefits analytics features have been designed to give HR leaders detailed insights into employee benefits plans, analysing how preferences differ among demographics, how enrolment patterns change over time, and how worker behaviour is evolving. This approach aims to inform decisions about which benefits are most effective and how strategies could be adjusted based on workforce trends.

The Workforce Investment App is another addition, helping finance, HR, and operations teams monitor and control workforce spending. The application provides real-time insights, supports "what-if" analysis, and offers recommendations.

For sales teams, the new incentive compensation analytics tools unify data related to deals, quota achievement, credits, and earnings. This unified perspective is intended to help leaders assess the effectiveness of compensation plans and ensure they are aligned with desired business objectives.
