FourKites appoints new VPs focusing on AI & digital growth

Yesterday

FourKites has announced the appointment of two new vice presidents, focusing on AI and digital transformation, to enhance its ability to assist customers in transforming their supply chains.

Sree Mangalampalli has been appointed as Vice President of Digital Transformation Solutions. Mangalampalli brings over 20 years of experience in sectors including manufacturing, automotive, medical technology, and construction. He has previously worked as Vice President at TADA, where he was responsible for developing and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies for executives at large manufacturing enterprises. His experience has led to substantial cost savings and enhanced operational efficiencies. Mangalampalli also contributes to academia by serving on the board of advisors for the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management Supply Chain program.

Joining Mangalampalli is Jimmy Sebastian, who takes on the role of Vice President of AI Products. Sebastian has more than 25 years of experience in developing enterprise platforms for AI, machine learning, analytics, and B2B SaaS products. Before joining FourKites, he was the Vice President of AI Platform at Beyond Limits, where his work focused on optimising business workflows through hybrid AI approaches, including generative AI, machine learning, and symbolic AI. His previous roles at companies such as Albertsons, Seven Lakes Technologies, Ticketmaster, Spirent, UST, PwC, and i2 Technologies highlight his focus on analytics and supply chain optimisation.

Mathew Elenjickal, the founder and CEO of FourKites, commented on the new appointments, stating, "Sree's proven track record of delivering millions in cost savings through digital transformation and Jimmy's expertise in building AI systems that solve real operational problems directly align with where supply chains are headed. As our customers work to capitalise on the capabilities of our Intelligent Control Tower, these leaders will help them turn data into automated decisions that cut costs, reduce disruptions, and create competitive advantage."

Elenjickal further elaborated on the company's ethos, "At FourKites, we believe in a consultative approach that starts with deeply understanding our customers' challenges. We don't just deploy technology – we partner with customers to develop solutions that address their specific pain points. Sree and Jimmy strengthen our ability to work alongside supply chain leaders, bringing specialised expertise that will help us innovate faster."

The appointments come shortly after the introduction of FourKites' Intelligent Control Tower, which seeks to enhance supply chain automation by integrating real-time data and digital twins with AI-powered processes. This system aims to break down enterprise silos by providing a comprehensive overview of orders, shipments, inventory, and assets, thus facilitating disruption prevention and performance optimisation.

FourKites has also been recognised for its contributions to the industry, appearing on FreightWaves' prestigious FreightTech 25 list for the seventh consecutive year and being named to Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators in 2023.
