Kallikor appoints Chris Brett to lead supply chain simulation
Kallikor has named Chris Brett as Chief Technology & Product Officer, bringing on board his expertise in intelligent automation and simulation systems to steer the company's supply chain simulation platform.
Brett, who previously served as Head of Robotics at Ocado, has more than 18 years of experience in developing scalable, AI-powered technology solutions. At Ocado, he played a pivotal role in the development of the company's patented swarm robotics storage and retrieval system.
In his new position at Kallikor, Brett will oversee the development and delivery of a simulation and scenario planning platform aimed at equipping organisations with tools to make data-driven decisions in increasingly volatile business environments.
According to the company, Kallikor's composable simulation digital twin platform is designed to offer scenario modelling capabilities to non-technical users. This functionality allows supply chain leaders and operational professionals to make decisions more rapidly, without the need for extensive datasets or programming knowledge.
The platform also enables users to transform operational design processes into a capability that is driven by evidence and adaptable to changing priorities across cost, service, sustainability, and resilience.
"Supply chain leaders today face unprecedented complexity. Organisations that make use of simulation-driven intelligence will gain a competitive advantage in adapting to market volatility and optimising operations. I'm excited to join Kallikor and help transform how businesses approach complex decision-making," Brett said.
"As businesses struggle with outdated tools that fail to address today's complex challenges and face mounting pressure to make faster, smarter decisions, Chris brings the visionary leadership and technical expertise needed to deliver on our promise. His background in building scalable simulation solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to democratise strategic foresight and become the global standard for dynamic, simulation-driven decision-making," Jonathan Barrett, Chief Executive Officer of Kallikor, commented on the appointment.
The appointment comes amid growing demand for simulation and scenario planning within the supply chain sector. An increasing number of companies are seeking platforms that can model multiple initiatives, assess trade-offs, and de-risk operational decisions in real time from a single interface.
Kallikor positions its platform as a tool to help organisations address these challenges by enabling advanced scenario analysis without requiring users to be technical specialists.
The company states that its aim is to provide accessible technology for simulation and scenario planning, allowing teams to simulate complex supply chain scenarios. The platform is intended to help organisations navigate unpredictable conditions and better align decisions related to cost, service, sustainability, and resilience.
