Titanbay named UK's most generous employer for staff benefits
Titanbay, a London-based asset management company, has been named the UK's Most Generous Company following recognition of its employee benefits programme.
The competition, organised by sharetech platform Vestd, sought to identify the most generous employers across the country in celebration of National Share Scheme Day. Titanbay received the award after a judging panel comprised of Vestd Chief Executive Officer Ifty Nasir and Simon Squibb, founder of HelpBnk, assessed submissions from various businesses.
Titanbay secured the top position ahead of runners-up Flexa Careers and Stewardship Wealth. Boughey Distribution achieved third place, while Higson finished fourth. The judges highlighted Titanbay's approach to company culture and employee benefits as key factors in their decision.
The benefits package at Titanbay includes an employee share scheme, a comprehensive annual leave policy, life insurance, technology contributions for those working from home, and a workplace nursery scheme designed to support new parents within the organisation.
"I'm delighted to hand over the inaugural UK's Most Generous Company prize to Titanbay. They faced down fierce competition to secure the title and can be rightfully proud to be the ones lifting the trophy. For me, a company is stronger when everybody pulls together and everybody shares in the success. Titanbay's benefit package is testament to that school of thought and it's obvious that they are leading an excellent company culture. There's a level of consideration to all of Titanbay's benefits that adds up to a significantly people-focused environment. On all fronts, Titanbay is demonstrating that it really genuinely cares about its people," Ifty Nasir, Vestd's founder and CEO, commented on the competition and Titanbay's performance.
"Ownership is one of our core operating principles, and something we live by every day. We take great pride in the fact that each of us is an owner, sharing both the responsibility and the success of what we're building together — and we're absolutely thrilled to see that recognised with the award from Vestd," Andrada Ciobanu, Associate Director of People and Talent at Titanbay, said commenting on the company's perspective on employee ownership.
Simon Squibb, who also served on the judging panel, shared his views on Titanbay's entry.
"Out of all of the entries, Titanbay just blew us away completely. It's really clear that the company is incredibly invested in their overall employee experience and that generosity is at the heart of everything they do. They told us that their benefit package had become a 'key differentiator' helping them to attract and hang onto talent, and we could really see that in the breadth of what they offer their team members," Squibb said.
"Not only do Titanbay team members enjoy full health and dental cover, but they also have access to employee counselling and wellbeing initiatives and share options for everybody. On top of that, none of this is gatekept for long-term employees, it's there for the taking from day one," Squibb added.
The award was established as part of Vestd's broader initiative to promote the value of employee share schemes and highlight best practices among UK employers. Titanbay's approach, which centres on shared ownership and inclusivity, was repeatedly referenced by the judges as a significant factor in the company's selection for the prize.
Titanbay's benefits structure is available to all staff members from the outset of their employment and is designed to enhance well-being, support personal commitments and provide pathways to financial participation in the company's future performance.
