Vested, a strategic communications agency specialising in financial services, has revealed the promotion of key personnel and onboarded new talent in a major shake-up of its top-brass hierarchy. Following another year of growth, the company has instated former Managing Director, Katie Spreadbury, in the capacity of UK CEO while welcoming David Simpson from Cognito as Managing Director of Creative and Marketing Services.
Vested, having its roots in New York since 2015, expanded its presence to London in 2018 with a vision of cultivating better understanding and relationships within the financial sector. Over the years, it has established itself as a trusted representative for some of the globe's most notable financial services brands and market challengers.
Katie Spreadbury began her journey with Vested during its London initiation, evolving from the role of a Director to the Managing Director, and now taking over as the UK CEO. Spreadbury's previous professional stints include significant contribution to Four Communications' financial services practice, which she joined through its acquisition of Consolidated PR. In her new role as the UK CEO, Katie will be accountable for the company's growth and delivery operations in the UK and will report to Elspeth Rothwell, the EMEA CEO.
The latest addition to the team, David Simpson, steps in as Vested's Managing Director of Creative and Marketing Services, leaving behind a successful four-year tenure at Cognito, leading its client's brand strategy and digital activations. Prior to this, he had established and run his own digital marketing agency. At Vested, his newly conceived role will focus on advancing the company's marketing and creative services internationally from London.

Another promo from Vested's talent pool in late 2023 saw Danny Calogero elevated to the position of Managing Director. Joining Vested as a Director in 2021, Calogero has gained experience working alongside some of the world's largest and most progressive financial services organisations and their supporting agencies.
