Vicky Larmour named engineering VP as Plextek sharpens focus

Plextek has appointed Vicky Larmour as its new Senior Vice President of Engineering.

Vicky Larmour joins Plextek with more than three decades of experience in technology consultancy, having led engineering teams of over 250 individuals across the United States, Singapore, and Cambridge. Her new role places her at the forefront of Plextek's multidisciplinary engineering function team, which comprises specialists in software, hardware, radio frequency (RF), and project management.

Larmour's expertise lies in wireless communication systems, with a strong focus on embedded software for satellite communications, low power devices, and systems operating under highly constrained conditions. In addition to her technical credentials, she brings with her a substantial background in organisational change management and a strong emphasis on developing talent within her teams.

As she steps into her position as Senior Vice President of Engineering, Larmour will be responsible for shaping the company's engineering strategy and fostering an environment of technical excellence. This role also carries the expectation that she will support Plextek's ongoing growth and work towards delivering advanced solutions for the company's range of international clients.
