Alteryx appoints Ben Canning to drive AI product strategy

Alteryx has appointed Ben Canning as Chief Product Officer to lead its product strategy and drive AI innovation.

The appointment comes after a series of high-profile executive hirings at Alteryx, including Andy MacMillan as CEO, Jon Pexton as CFO, and Steven Birdsall as CRO. These strategic hires aim to further Alteryx's objective of assisting organisations in achieving improved business outcomes via data utilisation.

Ben Canning will assume responsibility for shaping the product vision, strategy, and design of Alteryx's data analytics and AI offerings. Canning has significant industry experience, notably as a founding member of Microsoft's SharePoint Online team and a senior executive role at Smartsheet. His focus at Smartsheet included product management, research, and UX design.
