Bewley Homes has renewed and extended its partnership with UK Connect, continuing a relationship of more than 10 years.

Under the deal, the housebuilder will use UK Connect's FUSION service across its construction sites to provide operational connectivity. The arrangement builds on an existing supplier relationship that has supported Bewley's projects across the South of England.

Site networks

Construction groups have become more dependent on site connectivity as project teams use digital tools for design, workforce management, communications and monitoring. That has increased pressure on housebuilders to secure network access from the start of a development, particularly where fixed-line services are not yet available.

Bewley said its requirements have expanded as the business has grown. Operating across the South of England, it has relied on UK Connect during a period of rising demand on site networks.

FUSION marks the next stage of the partnership. UK Connect said the service uses a single framework to manage connectivity across multiple network options and is designed to maintain a baseline level of access from the first day a site begins operating.

The approach is intended to reduce reliance on a patchwork of wide area network arrangements and multiple vendors. That can be important on construction sites, where teams need access to drawings, project software, communication tools and connected devices before permanent infrastructure is in place.

Emily Saunders, Sales Team Manager at UK Connect, said: "The fact that Bewley Homes has chosen to renew and extend its partnership with UK Connect is a huge endorsement of our team, our service and our commitment to the construction sector. We've worked closely with Bewley for more than a decade, supporting their growth and helping their sites stay connected from day one. Their decision to select FUSION for the next phase of our relationship reflects the confidence they have in our ability to deliver resilient, high-performance connectivity wherever they build."

Growth needs

The renewal gives UK Connect continued access to a customer in the residential construction market at a time when specialist communications suppliers are targeting industries with temporary or hard-to-serve locations. Housebuilding sites often require rapid deployment and reliable service throughout a project, making them a steady source of demand for wireless and hybrid network providers.

For Bewley, the decision suggests continuity is a priority as it expands. Keeping the same supplier can reduce disruption for site teams and help standardise how projects are connected, managed and supported.

Chris Adams, Commercial Director at Bewley Homes, said: "Over the last 10 years, UK Connect has consistently delivered the reliability, expertise and responsiveness we need to keep our sites operating effectively. As our business continues to grow, it was important for us to partner with a provider that understands our requirements and can evolve with us. Renewing our relationship with UK Connect and adopting FUSION gives us confidence that our teams will continue to benefit from secure, resilient connectivity across both existing and future developments."

UK Connect focuses on wireless connectivity and related services, with construction among its core markets. Bewley Homes has been building residential developments since 1991 and said network access remains an operational requirement as digital systems become more embedded in day-to-day site activity.

The latest agreement preserves a supplier relationship that has developed over more than a decade while moving Bewley's site connectivity to a service intended to support both existing and future developments.
