Claroty names Nick Haan as new Field CTO for Strategic Partners

Thu, 29th Aug 2024

Claroty has announced the appointment of Nick Haan as Field Chief Technology Officer for Strategic Partners. Haan, who previously served as Field CTO at Nozomi Networks, brings extensive experience in the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) sector to his new role.

This move is part of Claroty’s ongoing strategy in the EMEA region, aimed at expanding the frequency and size of deals. Haan will act as the primary technical liaison, enhancing service development and providing industry guidance. Andrew Lintell, General Manager for EMEA at Claroty, highlighted the significance of this appointment.

“Claroty’s global go-to-market strategy is increasingly focused on leveraging technical alliances with industry leaders that allow our customers to scale their security programmes to meet today’s growing threats,” said Lintell. “Nick’s industry veteran expertise will be instrumental in leading Claroty in the next phase of growth. His role will be crucial in delivering tangible value to customers, aligning closely with the Sales, SE, and CSM account teams to foster deeper understanding and engagement.”

Haan’s tasks will include enabling partnerships, developing services, and offering industry insights. He expressed enthusiasm about his new role and its potential impact. “As cyber threats continue to evolve, it’s imperative that we provide our strategic partners with the technical expertise and support they need to protect our shared customers,” said Haan. “I’m excited to collaborate with our partners and leverage my experience to drive innovation, deepen relationships, and ultimately deliver greater value to the organisations we serve.”

The appointment comes during a period of significant growth for Claroty. The company reportedly surpassed USD $100 million in annual recurring revenue in 2023 and recently secured an additional USD $100 million in strategic growth financing. In total, Claroty has raised USD $735 million in funding, positioning it as one of the best-funded cybersecurity companies in the industrial (OT), healthcare (IoMT), and enterprise IoT sectors.

Claroty’s global strategy continues to emphasise channel partnerships and technical alliances, which are expected to drive scale and deliver better outcomes for customers as they build their cyber-physical security programmes.

Haan’s previous role at Nozomi Networks involved identifying strategic opportunities and working closely with Product and Support teams to address technical challenges and facilitate deal completions. His experience is expected to be a significant asset to Claroty as the company continues to expand.

Claroty specialises in protecting cyber-physical systems, with solutions designed to secure critical infrastructure. The company's platform offers comprehensive asset visibility and a suite of tools including exposure management, network protection, secure access, and threat detection. Claroty's solutions are deployed globally across various industries.

Nick Haan’s appointment appears to be a strategic move to further bolster Claroty’s capabilities and market presence. The company aims to continue building robust technical alliances and partnerships that can drive innovation and growth in the evolving field of cybersecurity.
