Condor launches analytics suite for life sciences finance
Tue, 5th May 2026 (Today)
Condor Software has launched an Advanced Analytics and Dynamic Scenario Suite for life sciences research and development finance teams, and outlined plans for a suite of clinical finance AI agents.
The new suite expands Condor's platform across forecasting, scenario planning and executive reporting, building on its existing automated accruals tools for R&D finance.
The products are designed to give finance teams a clearer view of forward-looking trial spending and planning. Users can tailor dashboards for different audiences, compare forecast versions and link reporting to trial-level operational data.
Teams can model issues such as enrolment delays or site activations without changing actual financial records. The suite also allows live dashboards to be shared across executive and functional teams.
The launch comes shortly after Condor disclosed a USD $24 million Series A funding round, marking a new phase of expansion for the company, which focuses on the financial management of clinical research.
Product expansion
Commenting on the launch, Nim Fox, Vice President of Product at Condor, described how the new software fits into the wider platform.
"Our new Advanced Analytics and Dynamic Scenario Suite complete our platform's coverage of the full R&D financial lifecycle," said Nim Fox, Vice President of Product, Condor.
Fox added: "R&D teams have never had a single source of truth that runs from close to strategy - one that updates automatically when the trial changes, without rebuilding rules or waiting on manual reconciliation. That's what we've built. And what's coming next, our suite of clinical finance AI agents, will go even further in bridging the gap between clinical operations and finance."
Condor's broader aim is to bring clinical operations and finance data into the same system, so trial changes can be reflected in planning and reporting without manual rework.
Its preview of clinical finance AI agents suggests a further push into automation for research finance teams. The company said these agents are intended to act like specialist finance staff embedded within R&D organisations, identifying patterns, flagging risks and linking information across departments.
Data model
Fox also described the underlying data structure that Condor says supports the system.
"Our product vision is to unite clinical operations and finance teams via a single source of clinical and financial truth, powered by AI. But not your standard AI. What we're building at Condor is unique," said Fox.
He continued: "Our AI-powered platform is built upon a clinical and financial ontology and knowledge graph developed over years with the Big 4 accounting firms. It understands the relationships between your trial protocols, enrollment data, site activity, vendor contracts, and financial rules. As protocols amend, enrollment shifts, and vendors renegotiate, the platform updates automatically. Data is unified, current, and explainable across the entire organization."
Life sciences companies are under growing pressure to tighten oversight of research spending as clinical trials become more complex and expensive. Finance teams often have to reconcile data from contract research organisations, trial sites, internal systems and vendors while updating forecasts for changing trial conditions.
That has created an opening for software groups focused on linking operational trial data with financial planning. Condor is positioning itself in that niche with tools that track R&D costs from close through to strategic planning and reporting.
Condor said it manages more than USD $19 billion in R&D spend. It also named Acadia Pharmaceuticals, Alumis Therapeutics, BridgeBio Pharma and Madrigal Pharmaceuticals among organisations using its software.
The latest launch suggests Condor is broadening its pitch beyond core finance processes towards planning and decision support for senior management. It also reflects a wider trend in healthcare and life sciences software, where suppliers use AI language to frame products that combine data integration, analytics and workflow tools.
Condor said its platform is designed to unify clinical, operational and financial data from separate systems and vendors, with the goal of keeping research finance data current and traceable across the organisation.
