Kyckr has appointed Jack Rawden as Head of Product, adding another senior hire as it expands its leadership team.

Rawden joins with more than 15 years of product experience in regulated markets. He was previously Chief Product Officer at Detected, where he led development of its KYB platform, and earlier served as Head of Product at Fraudfinder.

In his new role, he will oversee product expansion across risk signals, registry intelligence and perpetual KYB. These are areas where regulated firms are under pressure to rely less on static third-party data and more on live, verified sources.

The appointment comes during a period of growth. Kyckr reported revenue growth of 46% for the year to June 2026, which it described as the strongest financial performance in its 20-year history.

Its recent State of Onboarding 2026 research also highlights the commercial backdrop to the hire. Regulated firms identified data quality, verification friction and fragmented access to registries as the main obstacles in onboarding business customers.

Leadership changes

Rawden's arrival follows other recent senior appointments at Kyckr. Steve Lamb became Chief Executive Officer in August 2025, while Ian Jones joined as Chief Technology Officer earlier in 2026.

Kyckr has increased investment in product and engineering over the past year, with further recruitment planned. The effort forms part of a broader push to develop services in business digital identity and related compliance data.

Kyckr has operated in the market for two decades, supplying company and beneficial ownership data to regulated firms. It connects customers to information from more than 300 official company and beneficial ownership registers worldwide.

Clients include banks, fintechs, payments groups, insurers and professional services firms, which use the data for customer verification and anti-money laundering checks. Demand has risen as regulators and financial institutions place greater scrutiny on business onboarding and ownership transparency.

Market position

Alongside its expansion, Kyckr has received recognition from Chartis Research. It has been named a Category Leader for KYC Data Solutions for three consecutive years and also received a Disruptor Award for Risk Intelligence and Data Management in the RiskTech100 2027 rankings.

The hire brings in an executive with direct experience in know-your-business products at a time when providers are seeking to differentiate through data coverage and workflow tools rather than basic registry access alone.

Rawden said Kyckr's established position in registry data was a key attraction. "I'm delighted to join Kyckr at a pivotal and ambitious moment in its journey. Having spent over a decade in regulated environments, I know well how Kyckr has established itself as the go-to for business registry data, and I'm looking forward to building on that reputation and product set. With the mounting pressure on businesses to overhaul onboarding processes, there's real scope to add value and simplicity for our customers, and I can't wait to get started."

Lamb said the company had followed Rawden's work before making the appointment. "We've admired Jack's work with Detected from afar for a long time, so I'm delighted he has chosen Kyckr as the next step in his career. He also couldn't be joining at a better moment, with the business growing strongly and increasing investment into product innovation, which his expertise will help to accelerate further. For our customers, this means greater expertise and experience being brought to our product development, and an expansion of the risk intelligence and KYB solutions that directly address the pain points of friction and fragmented data access."
