Lánluas appoints new heads for enterprise & public
Lánluas has appointed Lorraine Sinnott as Head of Enterprise and Commercial and hired Susan Furber as Head of Public Sector, as the TechnologyOne consulting firm expands across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland.
The public sector role was previously held by Craig McLaughlin, who now serves as Chief Executive Officer. The two appointments create dedicated leadership for public sector work and for enterprise and commercial engagements.
Lánluas advises organisations that run TechnologyOne enterprise systems and sells licensed products to TechnologyOne customers. Its client base includes local government, education, government agencies, health and community services, asset- and project-intensive organisations, and corporate and financial services groups.
The firm said the appointments come as organisations face tighter budgets and higher accountability expectations, driving demand for independent specialist advice on TechnologyOne investments.
Enterprise focus
Sinnott has worked at Lánluas for six years and was previously a Principal Consultant.
Her experience spans healthcare, not-for-profits, community services and local government. Before joining Lánluas, she held management roles with Porirua City Council in New Zealand and worked with Healthcare NZ and The Salvation Army's operations across New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.
At Lánluas, Sinnott has led enterprise transformation projects for clients in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. She has also supported and mentored consultants.
Public sector hire
Furber joins from ReadyTech, where she worked in consulting. Lánluas said she has more than 30 years' experience in enterprise systems.
Her background includes federal, state and local government agencies, as well as private sector and not-for-profit organisations. Organisations she has worked with include the Shire of Broome, Adelaide City Council, the NSW Environment Protection Authority, the Department of Environment and Heritage, Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, Rio Tinto and Infor.
At ReadyTech, Furber led a consulting and professional services team delivering enterprise solutions to government clients. Lánluas said the appointment strengthens its ability to support government organisations using enterprise platforms.
Client pressures
Lánluas operates across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK. It said it is seeing increasing complexity in enterprise environments and a stronger focus on extracting value from system investments.
The firm provides independent advice, advanced configuration and continuous improvement for TechnologyOne enterprise systems. The new roles signal a shift to separate sector practices, rather than a single leadership structure covering both government and commercial engagements.
McLaughlin linked the appointments to client demand and his previous experience working with Furber.
"Having worked with Susan at ReadyTech, I know the depth of expertise and leadership she brings to government clients seeking to maximise the value of their enterprise investments," said Craig McLaughlin, Chief Executive Officer, Lánluas. "Lorraine has consistently delivered outstanding outcomes over multiple jurisdictions and sectors. Together, they bring invaluable client-side insight and practical experience that will further strengthen our advisory capability."
The two practice leadership posts sit alongside Lánluas' consulting and licensed products business for TechnologyOne customers. The firm said it will continue expanding its sector-specific consulting work across its existing markets.
