Lisa Ergun appointed to lead Dell’s UK channel PC strategy
Dell Technologies has appointed Lisa Ergun as the Channel Lead for Client Solutions Group in the United Kingdom.
Lisa Ergun will spearhead Dell's UK Client Solutions Group (CSG) channel strategy and will focus on enabling company partners to capitalise on opportunities in areas such as AI-powered PCs, sustainable IT solutions, and advanced security compliance.
Ergun's appointment comes at a crucial point for the IT industry, as organisations prepare for a major PC refresh cycle prompted by the fact that millions of existing PCs are expected to be incompatible with Windows 11. Microsoft will end Windows 10 support in October, with many businesses aligning their upgrade schedules towards next-generation AI PCs.
Dell has positioned its partners to take advantage of these developments by introducing its new AI PC portfolio. The company intends to provide its channel partners with resources to address both current upgrades and future requirements.
In addition, the company recently launched its most significant investment in client PC partners through the 2025 Partner Program. This programme introduces several initiatives, including a 1.5% client growth incentive for Titanium partners, broader Client+ base rate eligibility, and counting consumer products towards base rate thresholds.
These actions are designed to support Dell's channel partners in achieving growth and meeting changing customer requirements. The overall aim is to equip partners with tools and incentives that align with broader market transitions within the IT sector.
"I'm thrilled to be joining Dell during a time of such immense opportunity for the channel. Partner-delivered IT now accounts for 70% of the total addressable IT market, and that number is set to grow. Dell's complete IT solution approach, from innovative devices to managed services like Dell LifeCycle Hub, provides channel partners with a unique competitive advantage," Lisa Ergun said.
"Lisa's 25 years of experience in the IT sector give her unparalleled insight into the dynamics of the channel partner landscape. Her expertise will be instrumental in delivering predictable engagement and driving profitable, sustainable growth for our partners. Lisa's leadership will reinforce our channel partnerships and accelerate growth across the ecosystem," Ian Heath, UK lead of Channel and Distribution at Dell Technologies, said.
Ergun has had an extensive career before joining Dell, working as Channel Sales Manager for Platinum 360 Partners at Lenovo UK and Ireland for 13 years.
During her time at Lenovo, Ergun was recognised with several honours, including the Global Sales Excellence Award, CRN WiC Sales Employee of the Year 2019, and CRN WiC Manager of the Year 2023.
She was also a founding member of Lenovo's Women in Leadership UK ERG Group, with involvement in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
In her new role, Ergun will work closely with Dell's UK Channel Lead, Ian Heath, and UK Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Steve Young.
The appointment reflects the industry's broader movement toward partner-led sales and delivery of IT solutions, which is expected to constitute 70% of the total addressable IT market by 2025.
