NAKIVO has reported its second-quarter 2026 results, with EMEA as its largest region.

EMEA revenue rose 10% quarter-on-quarter and accounted for 55% of total revenue. The Americas generated 35%, while APJ contributed 11%.

Growth was spread across a mix of established and smaller markets. Revenue doubled quarter on quarter in countries including Japan, Egypt, Turkey, Sweden, China and Australia, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Macedonia, Liechtenstein, Nepal and Barbados.

The customer base increased 9% year on year to more than 16,000 across 190 countries. New customers in the quarter included Tangerine Global, Apptricity, Magellium and Seaside Collection.

The largest deal in the period was worth USD $201,821, while the enterprise customer base grew 13% year on year.

Channel growth

The partner network expanded, with 203 new partners joining the NAKIVO Partner Programme during the quarter. This increased its global channel presence as the company sought to widen distribution through resellers and service providers.

Managed service providers were another growth area. The number working with NAKIVO increased 20% from a year earlier, and the company added its first managed service providers in Japan and the Dominican Republic during the quarter.

Among supported platforms, installations on QNAP NAS recorded the strongest increase, rising 11% year on year. NAKIVO linked this growth to demand for backup and data protection in NAS environments.

Product update

During the quarter, NAKIVO released version 11.2.1 of its Backup & Replication product. The update added support for Proxmox VE 9.2 and for vSphere 9 in real-time replication workflows.

It also updated the licensing interface for NAS subscriptions and added support for Buffalo NAS running Windows. The release was part of a broader push to expand platform support across virtual, physical, cloud and SaaS environments.

Industry recognition

NAKIVO also highlighted several industry awards and rankings received during the quarter. These included inclusion in CRN's 2026 Storage 100 among the 40 Coolest Data Recovery, Observability and Resiliency Vendors, a Global Tech Insider award for data protection and disaster recovery, and a Silver Globee Award in data backup and recovery solutions.

The US-based company focuses on backup, ransomware protection and disaster recovery software. It works through a network of more than 3,000 partners worldwide and serves organisations ranging from smaller businesses to large multinational groups.

Bruce Talley, Chief Executive Officer, outlined the company's view of the quarter.

"Our Q2 2026 results demonstrate the continued strength and global reach of NAKIVO," said Bruce Talley, Chief Executive Officer, NAKIVO.

"We are particularly encouraged by the 10% revenue growth in the EMEA region, the continued expansion of our customer and partner base, and the 20% growth of NAKIVO's managed service provider network. At the same time, our latest recognition from the leading industry organisations demonstrates our commitment to delivering reliable, flexible, and innovative data protection solutions that our customers and partners need," Talley said.
