Rightlander has launched Partner Intelligence for fintech brands, a technology designed to monitor affiliate partners across digital channels, help marketing teams track brand representation, identify potential compliance issues, and monitor changes in partner activity.

The London-based company said the product gives businesses an ongoing view of how affiliate partners promote brands across websites, social media, networks and sub-networks. It is intended to help marketing and compliance teams improve visibility into partner activity while identifying opportunities for commercial growth.

Affiliate marketing has become more complex in regulated sectors such as fintech, where brands often work with direct partners while also appearing through wider network arrangements. Individual partners may operate multiple websites and social media accounts or work through sub-affiliates, making it harder for brands to identify where their products appear and how they are promoted.

Partner Intelligence uses customisable monitoring agents to track activity across these channels. According to Rightlander, the system can issue alerts about compliance concerns, brand exposure, competitor activity and changes in partner strategy.

The technology links social media profiles to websites and connects websites to affiliate networks and sub-networks. This allows brands to examine how promotional activity moves across different channels and identify partners involved in specific placements.

Partner monitoring

For affiliate and marketing teams, the additional visibility can help establish where brands appear online and identify the partners responsible for those placements. Rightlander said monitoring settings and alerts can be tailored to individual markets, partners and internal compliance requirements, allowing teams to focus on areas most relevant to their operations.

The system is designed to support ongoing monitoring rather than relying solely on periodic reviews of affiliate activity. This is particularly relevant to fintech brands operating in regulated markets, where promotional content and partner conduct may require closer oversight.

Commercial analysis

Beyond compliance, Rightlander is positioning Partner Intelligence as a tool for commercial analysis. The company said the information collected can help brands identify partners gaining traction in new markets or channels, while highlighting competitor activity and changes in partner strategy.

The product delivers information through application programming interfaces, activity feeds, alerts and downloadable reports. It is designed to integrate with existing affiliate and marketing systems, allowing businesses to use the monitoring capabilities without replacing their current technology.

The launch builds on Rightlander's existing marketing and compliance monitoring services. Its technology scans third-party marketing content across websites, social media, email and instant messaging, identifying material that may not comply with relevant requirements across different markets.

Rightlander works with more than 300 brands, affiliate networks, and agencies worldwide. Its technology scans content across more than 30 countries.

Ian Sims, Founder of Rightlander, said the product was developed to address the difficulty brands face in tracking activity across complex affiliate networks.

"Brands can't manage partners they can't see. Partner Intelligence acts as an all-seeing eye on partner activity. It keeps watch in the background, so marketing teams can focus on growth and still know straight away when something needs their attention. That's what we mean by 'Built on compliance. Designed for growth.'," Sims said.
