Rimini Street's annual charity grant programme comes to London
Rimini Street, a leading global provider of IT services and support, has announced plans to locate its RMNI Love Charitable Grant Program for 2024 in its European Headquarters located in London. The announcement continues the firm's tradition of dispersing its annual grant programme to various locations with previous hosts being the company's Las Vegas and Tokyo offices, the company states.
The annual grant scheme invites certified charitable organisations in each host location to apply for one of five £10,000 grants. This year, those in London and the surrounding regions will have the opportunity to apply on the Rimini Street RMNI Love website. Applications for the programme will open on February 15, 2024, and close on March 31, 2024.
"Selecting London as the 2024 programme host is a celebration of Rimini Street's strong commitment and accomplishments in the UK and the broader EMEA region. We are delighted to collaborate with charities that empower the communities and make a lasting difference," explained Janet Ravin, VP of brand, content and communications at Rimini Street and committee chair of the Rimini Foundation.
The charitable programme, launched in 2022, previously ran in Las Vegas and Tokyo, granting five local charities in each city $10,000 each. Representatives of the charities in both cities were invited to share their stories at a Rimini Street event attended by members of the community and Rimini Street colleagues. Following the company's "Follow-the-Sun" model of client support, the RMNI LOVE Grant Program set its sights on the EMEA region for 2024.
The grant initiative is one part of the larger Rimini Street Foundation and seeks to provide financial contributions, in-kind donations, and employee volunteer hours to non-profit organisations that share the Foundation's mission – to "leave the world a better place than the way we found it."
Government-certified charities in London or the neighbouring regions who wish to apply for one of five £10,000 grants can do so on the Rimini Street RMNI LOVE website. The page will offer additional details and requirements and provide a platform for charities to share their stories and impacts on the community. All submissions will be reviewed, vetted, and voted on by the Global Steering Committee of the Rimini Street Foundation, faithfully representing the diverse culture and background of the Company's workforce.
