Secureframe unveils AI tool to streamline audit compliance tasks
Secureframe has launched an artificial intelligence-powered evidence validation feature to assist organisations in managing audit and compliance processes as regulatory requirements become more stringent.
The new feature, AI Evidence Validation, is designed to review audit documentation for accuracy and relevance before an assessment begins. Using artificial intelligence, the technology checks submitted evidence and highlights common problems such as missing documents, outdated timestamps, or files that do not match the required test criteria. The tool provides immediate feedback, allowing teams to resolve issues early, before an auditor reviews the material.
According to Secureframe, the goal of this addition is to reduce audit delays, exceptions, and the need for manual back-and-forth between teams and auditors. The company states that this real-time validation will help organisations pass audits faster, with improved accuracy and efficiency in compiling required evidence.
Shrav Mehta, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Secureframe, said, "AI Evidence Validation is about giving customers peace of mind. It's one more way we're helping teams stay ahead of audit requirements, reduce risk, and get back valuable time they can use to grow their business."
AI Evidence Validation follows Secureframe's previous rollout of several compliance-focused automation tools. These include Comply AI for Remediation, which addresses failing controls in cloud environments by generating remediation code for AWS, Azure, and GCP. This allows users to resolve issues quickly by copying, pasting, and deploying fixes, which Secureframe says can help strengthen security postures while saving time.
Comply AI for Risk is another tool in Secureframe's suite that streamlines risk assessment. The system analyses risk descriptions, automatically generates risk scores, and recommends treatment plans, aiming to help teams respond to risks efficiently and with increased confidence.
Comply AI for Policies utilises generative artificial intelligence to simplify the drafting, customisation, and refinement of security and compliance policies. The tool features an intelligent editor that helps teams create clear, organisation-specific documents in a short amount of time.
Machine learning is also applied in Secureframe's Questionnaire Automation, which is intended to accelerate the completion of requests for proposals (RFPs) and security questionnaires. By reference to existing documentation and contextual cues, this technology, referred to as Trust AI, automates responses and reduces the time required to fulfil due diligence requirements.
Secureframe also offers AI Framework Support to assist organisations in adopting best practices and aligning with standards including the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO 42001. This feature aims to support responsible management of artificial intelligence risks.
Results from Secureframe's customers indicate that these AI-driven capabilities have made a measurable impact. The company reports that 54% of customers complete security and compliance tasks at least 30% faster, enhancing audit readiness. A further 92% of customers have redirected time to areas such as product development, customer experience, or innovation, which Secureframe describes as turning compliance into a growth driver. Additionally, the organisation states that 86% of users have reduced the ongoing effort required to remain compliant, helping to relieve teams from repetitive manual work.
