Sidetrade reported third-quarter revenue of €18.4 million and new annual recurring revenue of €2.60 million. Bookings in the first nine months of 2026 have already surpassed its full-year records for 2024 and 2025.

The French order-to-cash software group said new annual recurring revenue, or ARR, rose 348% from a year earlier in the third quarter, making it the second-strongest quarter in its history. Revenue increased 22% year on year, while subscription revenue rose 24% to €16.4 million.

In the first nine months of the year, Sidetrade signed €7.76 million in new ARR, up 157% from the same period a year earlier. That was 81% above the full-year 2025 figure and 19% ahead of the previous annual high set in 2024.

Total contract value for subscription deals signed since January reached €29.1 million, up 256% from the same period in 2025. In the third quarter alone, total contract value rose 473% to €10.4 million.

International mix

International business accounted for most of the quarter's bookings and revenue. Some 76% of third-quarter bookings came from outside France, with North America alone contributing 54% of the total.

Outside its domestic market, Sidetrade generated 72% of subscription revenue during the quarter. North America accounted for 26% of subscription revenue, close to France's contribution, while Asia-Pacific contributed 16% following the integration of ezyCollect.

The regional split points to a broader shift in the company's sales profile. Once more heavily exposed to France, the business is now drawing most of its growth from overseas markets, particularly the US.

Sidetrade said large North American companies were seeking clearer visibility over the running costs of AI agents. It said its approach, including multi-year commitments on token pricing, had resonated with buyers in the region.

Longer contracts

Contract duration also lengthened during the quarter. The average initial commitment period for contracts signed in the third quarter, excluding renewals, reached 56.2 months, up from 49.2 months a year earlier.

That followed an average term of 48.8 months in the first half of the year. Longer contract periods tend to improve revenue visibility, although the effect on reported sales is spread over time as deployments are completed and revenue is recognised over the life of the contract.

Sidetrade said the latest wave of contracts would contribute more materially from 2027. For now, the figures show customers are committing for longer periods than in previous years.

AI products

Sidetrade linked part of the commercial momentum to uptake of its newer AI-based products. In the third quarter, those products generated €0.78 million in new ARR, equivalent to 30% of the quarter's total.

Customers ordered 32 Aimie Cash Collection Agents during the period, compared with 26 in the second quarter and 17 in the first. That brought the year-to-date total to 75.

Every new customer signed in the third quarter also bought Aimie IQ and Agent Builder Studio alongside the core order-to-cash platform. Sidetrade said this showed AI tools were being sold with the software platform rather than replacing it.

The distinction matters for software vendors facing questions over whether AI agents could weaken demand for conventional subscription products. Sidetrade's figures suggest the opposite in its market, with AI features helping to support software sales and broader contract values.

Olivier Novasque, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Sidetrade, said: "Sidetrade is undergoing the biggest shift in its history, and it is accelerating at the breakneck pace of AI advancement. From founding our Data Lake in 2015, when we decided to collect and structure B2B payment data, to training our proprietary models, which our AI agents now use on nearly $10 trillion in aggregated transactions across more than 45 million buying companies, the leap forward has been enormous. In 2026, we crossed a new technological frontier. Building on everything we had developed over the years, we stopped thinking like a software vendor and became an AI-native company.

"With SAFE, our agentic AI infrastructure, we control the full technology stack hosted in our private cloud, from the GPU computing power, through our proprietary domain intelligence models, to the rules that govern every decision and every action our AI agents take. Where many vendors have chosen to purchase intelligence from frontier model labs or hyperscalers, exposing their economics to constant fluctuations in token costs, we chose to produce our own intelligence. It is a sovereign industrial decision, one that demands significant capital, engineering, and expertise, but gives us control over our AI, its evolution, and its economics. Control of the data, the models, and the associated AI costs give our customers a new level of sovereignty over how they deploy and use their AI with Sidetrade.

Our multi-year contractual commitments on token costs give them visibility on the long-term return of their agents. That control shows up on their invoice. According to McKinsey, 71% of executives view AI sovereignty as an existential concern or a strategic imperative* for their organizations. Our value proposition, unique in the order-to-cash market, addresses the growing demands of large enterprises worldwide, as the unprecedented acceleration in our bookings since the beginning of the year demonstrates."

The quarter also included a contribution from ezyCollect, which added €2.5 million in revenue and increased Sidetrade's exposure to Asia-Pacific and the small and medium-sized business market. Excluding ezyCollect, organic revenue growth was 6%, up from 4% in the second quarter.

Quarterly new ARR accelerated through the year, rising from €2.05 million in the first quarter to €3.11 million in the second and €2.60 million in the third. The third-quarter figure was below the second-quarter peak but still well above comparable periods in 2025 and 2024.

Subscriptions accounted for 89% of consolidated revenue in the quarter, underlining the weight of recurring income in Sidetrade's model. The company supports businesses in 85 countries and says its data models are trained on nearly $10 trillion in business-to-business transactions covering more than 45 million buying companies.
