Tax Systems names Sanj Juneja Global Strategic Partners Director

Today

Tax Systems has appointed Sanj Juneja as Global Strategic Partners & Alliances Director as part of its strategy to drive international growth through partnerships.

Juneja's appointment introduces a newly created role within the company, reflecting its ambitions to develop a more robust partner ecosystem to support scaling, delivery, and expansion into new markets.

With more than two decades of experience in the technology and software sector, Juneja has previously built and led partner programmes at companies including Thomson Reuters and Hitachi. He is expected to focus on identifying, onboarding, and developing a network of go-to-market partners in the UK, Europe, the UAE, and the US.

Role and responsibilities

The core responsibilities for Juneja will centre around qualifying and activating key strategic partners. These partners are intended to complement Tax Systems' software with additional services, enabling holistic tax transformation offerings designed to address the needs of a broad client base facing complex compliance mandates.

Tax Systems' current strategy targets growth opportunities in areas such as corporate tax, tax provisioning, and demands arising from new international mandates, especially Pillar Two, which presents significant compliance challenges for multinational businesses.

"We've already laid the foundations of a highly collaborative partner ecosystem, and I'm excited to help take it to the next level. Partnerships are at the heart of how we'll scale – combining our market-leading software with the people and process expertise of our partners to support customers in transforming the way they work," said Juneja.

This partner ecosystem approach is intended to extend Tax Systems' market reach and deliver additional value for clients, especially as more organisations seek end-to-end digital solutions for their tax compliance requirements.

Executive perspectives

Richard Sampson, Chief Revenue Officer at Tax Systems, highlighted the role's significance in the company's growth strategy and the expectation that Juneja will accelerate the progress already achieved.

"Sanj brings a wealth of experience and energy to a role that is absolutely central to our growth ambitions. Building a high-impact partner ecosystem is a strategic priority for how we scale globally and deliver more value to our customers. With Sanj at the helm, I'm confident we'll accelerate our progress and establish partnerships that drive long-term success for everyone involved," said Sampson.

The decision to invest in the partner channel comes at a time when the tax compliance sector faces increasing complexity, as businesses navigate evolving legislation and higher regulatory scrutiny in multiple jurisdictions.

Market context

Tax Systems has established a customer base that includes over 42% of the FTSE 100 and 80% of major advisory firms in the UK and Ireland. Its solutions are utilised by more than 30,000 tax professionals, who complete over 200,000 submissions annually. The company's current focus is on expanding its influence across EMEA and other regions through collaboration with partners who can enhance software capabilities with consultative, implementation, and technical support services.

The appointment of Juneja signals Tax Systems' commitment to deepening partnerships and responding to client needs for practical cross-border tax compliance solutions. His role will integrate partner teams across strategic regions and drive coordinated efforts to support organisations in adapting to new tax rules and global compliance standards.

Tax Systems continues to position itself to address growing international demands, leveraging strategic alliances as part of its overall business approach.
