Yaspa partners with ASK Global to enhance UK PINTO machines
Yaspa and ASK Global have partnered to integrate open banking capabilities into PINTO machines in the UK.
Yaspa, a British financial technology company known for its instant bank payment solutions via open banking, collaborates with ASK Global, a provider of payment solutions and kiosks, to incorporate Yaspa's open banking features into ASK Global's PINTO machines. These machines are commonly utilised in major land-based casinos and betting shops across the UK.
ASK Global offers a wide range of payment solutions, management systems, and gaming equipment tailored to meet the requirements of the retail and gaming sectors worldwide. Its PINTO (Payment In Ticket Out) kiosks are self-service machines that enhance customer convenience by enabling cashless payments and ticketing. These machines currently support debit and credit card payments. With Yaspa's integration, customers can make direct, secure, and instant payments from their bank accounts through open banking.
James Neville, CEO of Yaspa, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "We are thrilled to partner with ASK Global to bring our open banking payment solution to their PINTO machines. This collaboration allows us to provide a seamless, instant, and secure payment experience, enhancing convenience and offering customers greater flexibility. We believe this introduction of open banking payments into land-based sites is a game-changer for the industry and look forward to the positive impact it will have on both merchants and users."
Fivos Polymniou, Director of ASK Global, added, "Our partnership with Yaspa reflects our commitment to providing cutting-edge payment solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. By integrating open banking into our PINTO kiosks, we are further cementing our customers' freedom to choose the payment solution that works for them."
This rollout will initially focus on the UK market, with plans to expand the integration across Europe shortly thereafter. The companies anticipate the service will be operational by the end of October 2024.
