BlackLine named leader in Ventana Research’s 2024 guide
BlackLine has been designated as an Exemplary Vendor and Overall Leader in Financial Close within Ventana Research's 2024 Financial Close Buyer's Guide. This accolade highlights BlackLine's commitment to providing future-oriented financial operations that are precise, efficient, and intelligent.
The Ventana Value Index methodology, used in the Buyers' Guide, involves comprehensive market and product research, mirroring a request for information (RFI) process. It assesses technology vendors based on their offerings in ten critical categories of Product and Customer Experience. BlackLine emerged as a leader in seven of these categories.
Key strengths of BlackLine noted by Ventana include Product Experience, particularly in manageability, administration, privacy, and security. Customer Experience is also recognised, especially in terms of total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI), attributed to effective systems and processes for managing and escalating breaches.
Therese Tucker, Founder and Co-CEO at BlackLine, commented on the recognition: "Achieving a leadership position in this analyst evaluation is a testament to our relentless dedication to customer-centric innovation. As the pioneer and leader in this space, we have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the Office of the CFO. That's why our comprehensive platform ensures transformation success, providing our customers with immediate impact and sustained value over time."
Robert Kugel, Senior Vice President and Research Director at Ventana Research, now part of ISG, stated, "As the financial landscape continues to evolve, the need for the Office of the CFO to drive business forward has never been more critical. BlackLine's proven, collaborative, and achievable approach to digital transformation has positioned the company as a trusted partner for organisations worldwide."
