Erqos & DashIO partner to advance IIoT connectivity

Erqos Technologies and DashIO have announced a partnership to integrate their respective technologies in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) automation.

This collaboration promises to enhance the connectivity and control of industrial systems by integrating Erqos' EQSP32 MicroPLC with DashIO's smartphone user interface. The aim is to provide a comprehensive solution that allows users to configure, control, and monitor industrial systems both locally and remotely.

The EQSP32 MicroPLC from Erqos is designed as an open system in the industrial automation sector, differing from traditional microPLCs by avoiding proprietary software restrictions. Users have the flexibility to program their systems, integrate third-party solutions, and manage their automation systems free from vendor limitations. The system is adaptable for both local and cloud-based operations, serving as a more adaptable and cost-effective option compared to traditional PLCs.

DashIO's platform complements the EQSP32 by allowing users to develop custom dashboards on smartphones and tablets. These can include interactive elements such as buttons and graphs to facilitate the monitoring and control of systems based on the EQSP32 MicroPLC. Users can connect via Bluetooth and TCP/IP for local management, while secure MQTT protocols enable remote access via the cloud, allowing smooth operation between onsite management and remote administration.
