Grammarly adopts Gr4vy no-code platform to expand payment options

Today

Grammarly has chosen Gr4vy's no-code payment orchestration platform to simplify and scale its global payments infrastructure.

Grammarly, which serves more than 40 million users and 50,000 organisations, has implemented Gr4vy's cloud-based system to optimise its existing payments processes and support further international growth.

No-code integration

The adoption of Gr4vy provides Grammarly with access to over 400 payment methods and anti-fraud tools through a single integration. This solution allows Grammarly to reduce transaction costs, increase approval rates, and route payments intelligently across multiple payment service providers (PSPs) without extensive development work.

John Lunn, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gr4vy, said:

"Grammarly's decision to use our platform is a testament to the simplicity and flexibility we offer, as well as our ability to deliver efficient and scalable solutions that will drive customer growth and retention. We are thrilled to empower Grammarly with the flexibility it needs to optimise payment processes while focusing on its core mission of helping people and teams do their best work."

Gr4vy's platform aims to allow merchants to integrate multiple PSPs and payment tools in minutes, without writing custom code or handling ongoing technical maintenance. The plug-and-play approach is designed to eliminate months of engineering time typically required for such integrations.

Expanded payment options

By using Gr4vy, Grammarly can activate new PSPs with a single click, giving the company flexibility to introduce alternative payment options and experiment with payment strategies as customer needs evolve. The system's redundancy features ensure that if one PSP has downtime, transactions can be rerouted instantly, helping to prevent interruptions and loss of revenue.

Grammarly gains access to Gr4vy's hosted payment fields to securely collect sensitive card data and maintain full PCI compliance. The company also utilises Gr4vy's Account Updater to automate recurring billing, including the management of cards that have expired, which supports uninterrupted subscription services for users.

According to the companies, these features allow Grammarly to continuously refine its payment strategy while preserving operational agility and scalability for a growing customer base.

Supporting business objectives

Gr4vy states that its platform is designed to help companies optimise payment stacks from a centralised dashboard, leveraging dedicated cloud instances to eliminate the risk of a single point of failure. The system is positioned as a way to streamline payment operations, enhance redundancy and boost profitability by enabling faster go-to-market for payment features and ensuring reliable transaction processing.

The payment orchestration platform supports integration with a wide variety of payment providers and third-party tools. This capability allows businesses to customise, automate, and adapt payment workflows without being constrained by legacy infrastructure.

Wider context

Grammarly's implementation of Gr4vy comes at a time when organisations are increasingly seeking ways to optimise and diversify payment methods to better serve global customers and improve transaction success rates. For firms with subscription-based models, access to a variety of payment partners and automated card management are considered factors in retaining users and maximising revenue continuity.

The collaboration reflects a broader shift by enterprises to employ payment orchestration solutions that can be maintained by business teams rather than engineering departments. By adopting products with no-code capabilities, companies can add or modify payment options rapidly, test routing logic for different geographies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as PCI DSS, with minimal manual effort.

Gr4vy has indicated that it will continue to focus on enabling firms to take full control of payment strategies, with the intention of supporting scalability and reliability for a range of enterprise customers.
