MoonPay has launched MoonPay Enterprise, a stablecoin payments platform for businesses built on Iron, the stablecoin infrastructure company it acquired in March 2025.

The new business line targets banks, fintechs and merchants that want a single system for moving between fiat currencies and stablecoins. It combines pay-in, conversion, payout and issuance tools in one integration, as MoonPay expands beyond its consumer crypto payments business.

The platform lets companies collect fiat through local payment rails including SEPA, ACH, FPS and PIX, as well as SWIFT. Funds can be received into virtual accounts and automatically converted into stablecoins for settlement into wallets.

It also provides access to stablecoin liquidity for treasury management, platform liquidity and larger over-the-counter conversions. Businesses can send payouts in stablecoins or local fiat in supported markets, while those seeking their own token can mint fully reserved white-label stablecoins through the service.

The launch reflects growing interest in stablecoins as companies look for alternatives to traditional cross-border payment systems. MoonPay argues that many businesses have had to rely on separate providers for fiat on-ramps, stablecoin issuance and settlement, adding cost and operational complexity.

Existing clients

The platform is already being used by several customers. Deel uses it for stablecoin payroll, while Paysafe has integrated it into a payments platform that handles US$167 billion a year, allowing merchants to accept crypto at checkout.

Other named partners include Whop, WalletConnect, Ingenico, Avici, Exodus, Citrea and Scopex. MoonPay Enterprise is already processing hundreds of millions in transaction volume across more than 190 countries for more than 50 enterprise partners, according to the company.

The offering is built on the technology MoonPay gained through its acquisition of Iron. MoonPay says Iron provides an API-based infrastructure layer that lets companies issue virtual accounts, manage multi-currency treasuries and move funds across borders through banking networks including ACH, wire transfers and SWIFT.

MoonPay is positioning the platform as a way to reduce the number of providers businesses need to connect when building stablecoin payment flows. It says this is particularly relevant for organisations paying workers in multiple jurisdictions, settling tokenised assets in real time and managing funds in several currencies.

Licences and Reach

MoonPay says the platform operates on top of its existing regulatory footprint, including money transmitter licences in all 50 US states, a New York BitLicence, approval under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets framework, and registrations in the UK, Canada and Australia.

The company also says the platform has SOC 2, PCI DSS and ISO 27001 certifications. These standards are commonly used by financial and technology companies to demonstrate controls around security, data handling and compliance.

MoonPay, which says it has nearly 30 million customers, built its business by offering tools to buy, sell and trade crypto using payment methods such as cards, Apple Pay, PayPal and Venmo. It also provides services to send, receive and manage stablecoins, and says it supplies infrastructure to nearly 500 companies in the digital asset sector.

Founder and CEO Ivan Soto-Wright outlined the commercial rationale for the new service.

"Businesses are paying workers across 190 countries, managing multi-currency treasuries, and settling value in real time. They need one platform to issue, convert, and move value globally. MoonPay Enterprise gives them exactly that through a single integration," said Ivan Soto-Wright, Founder and CEO of MoonPay.

Max von Wallenberg-Pachaly, CEO of MoonPay Enterprise, described the same objective in operational terms.

"Stablecoins shouldn't require businesses to become experts in banking infrastructure, liquidity management, or blockchain operations. MoonPay Enterprise gives them those capabilities as infrastructure, through a single integration," said Max von Wallenberg-Pachaly, CEO of MoonPay Enterprise.
