Natalie Garfield appointed CFO to boost South Wales business growth
The CFO Centre has appointed Natalie Garfield as its newest Chief Financial Officer to support businesses in South Wales. Garfield joins the organisation following a 15-year tenure as Finance Director at Capita, where she led financial strategy for a diverse range of public sector contracts.
Extensive experience
Garfield brings over 20 years of experience to her new role. Her background spans manufacturing, consulting, local government, education, and healthcare. She began her career in South Wales' manufacturing sector, working with companies such as Bosch and Hoover. She progressed through management accounting roles and is a CIMA-qualified accountant.
Capita track record
During her time at Capita, Garfield managed financial strategy for key public sector contracts. Her remit included planning and highways departments, IT and customer services, as well as partnerships with education and healthcare. She has overseen portfolios with revenues exceeding GBP £215 million and has been responsible for leading transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic growth across sectors.
Focus on South Wales
Garfield's appointment aims to build on The CFO Centre's presence in South Wales. The organisation works with both SMEs and larger organisations, providing part-time financial leadership to support business ambitions in the region.
