Portnox names Joseph Rodriguez as new chief revenue officer
Portnox has announced that Joseph Rodriguez has been appointed as the company's Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Stationed at their base of operations in Austin, Texas, Rodriguez will report to the CEO of Portnox, Denny LeCompte.
In his new role as CRO, Rodriguez will be tasked with leading the revenue operations. His responsibilities will entail the oversight of worldwide sales and he will also be instrumental in growing the sales team. Ensuring the global sales organisation is well-supported in sales enablement and sales execution efforts is another crucial role he will undertake. Portnox is intent on continuing its strategic focus on North America and EMEA as areas of opportunity.
Denny LeCompte, CEO of Portnox, expressed his faith in Rodriguez and his ability to deliver. He said, "Joseph brings genuine enthusiasm and caring to every interaction and is driven to exceed expectations, and lead by example. With his extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in mid-market and enterprise B2B software sales, we have confidence that he will help us meet and exceed our revenue goals."
Rodriguez, who comes with more than two decades of SaaS Enterprise sales and Go-to-Market experience, has previously held revenue leadership roles at Spredfast (now Khoros) and Upland Software. During his tenure at these organisations, he served as the SVP of Worldwide Sales at Upland, and as the Vice President Sales, North America, at Khoros.
Speaking about his appointment, Rodriguez dwelled on the significant opportunity that lies ahead for Portnox and its clients. He said, "Portnox offers companies the tremendous opportunity to strengthen their organisational security posture with critical zero trust access control policies that can be deployed and maintained with ease. I'm excited to work shoulder to shoulder with our incredible sales team to deliver unprecedented revenue-growth, expansion, and retention."
In recent times, security has become a pressing challenge given the rapid expansion of enterprise networks, the proliferation of connected device types and the upturn in the sophistication of cyberattacks. By adopting Portnox's cloud-native zero trust access control and cybersecurity essentials hundreds of mid-market and enterprise companies have managed to enforce powerful access, endpoint risk monitoring and remediation policies to reinforce their organisational security posture.
