ProfitMojo partners with iplicit to target UK mid-market SMEs

Thu, 9th Oct 2025

ProfitMojo has entered a partnership with iplicit to deliver integrated finance and inventory solutions targeted at SMEs and mid-market organisations in the UK.

The consultancy, founded by Nick Tucker and Jaco Esterhuysen, is launching with a focus on businesses that have outgrown entry-level software but do not require or cannot afford complex enterprise-grade solutions. With a background that includes more than 15 years of experience in growing a successful Sage reseller and managing multinational software implementations, the founders of ProfitMojo are now setting their sights on a market segment they consider underserved.

ProfitMojo will offer iplicit's cloud-based accounting software, alongside Cin7, an inventory management platform that integrates with iplicit, aiming to support businesses as they scale. This combination will be pitched to ambitious SMEs approaching mid-market status, particularly those in the manufacturing and warehousing sectors.

Nick Tucker, Co-Founder of ProfitMojo, said:

"We're taking all the skills we've applied to big projects and using them to help the ambitious SMEs whose software options have been very limited as they approach mid-market size."

He continued:

"It is possible for those businesses to transform their operations and thrive without software and implementations that cost the earth. We found iplicit and Cin7 were the perfect products to make that possible."

ProfitMojo has identified iplicit's recent integration with Cin7 as particularly valuable for manufacturing and warehousing businesses. The aim is to simplify and unify finance and inventory management processes for these sectors, helping them run operations entirely in the cloud.

Speaking further on the choice of technology, Tucker added:

"When it came to a finance system, we wanted a UK-created, UK-focused vendor that already had a solid presence in the market, that was innovating and suited businesses looking to move on from entry-level cloud software."

Team expansion

ProfitMojo's market entry is supported by the appointment of Caroline Eva as Business Manager. With over 20 years of ERP and business management experience, Eva brings additional knowledge to assist firms that are transitioning from lower-market to mid-market solutions.

Caroline Eva said:

"The partnership with iplicit opens up a massive part of the market for us and is a natural fit for the team's skills."

She added:

"Being an early adopter in the relationship between iplicit and Cin7 gives us a huge opportunity to become a leader in that space. Everything about the iplicit partnership - the dynamic of the business, the capabilities of the product, the sense of engagement from the executive team - has been overwhelmingly positive."

Industry collaboration

On the side of iplicit, the new partnership aligns with its strategy of working with firms focused on the mid-market and delivering strong customer outcomes.

Paula Cooper, Head of Channel at iplicit, said:

"Our partner programme is built on collaboration with firms that share our focus on the mid-market and a commitment to outstanding customer outcomes. ProfitMojo brings a wealth of experience and sector expertise that will be invaluable as we help thousands of SMEs move away from entry-level tech and take the step into true midmarket cloud accounting. We're thrilled to welcome them into the iplicit partner community."

iplicit's cloud accounting platform is designed for medium-sized businesses and non-profit organisations and is used by more than 43,000 daily users in over 100 countries. Its integration capabilities, including the recent link with Cin7's inventory management solution, are presented as a core part of the offering to businesses looking to modernise their operations without the high cost and complexity often associated with enterprise-grade applications.

ProfitMojo will continue to focus on manufacturing and warehousing clients, with a stated intent to help those in the underserved mid-market segment transform their operational capabilities using cloud-based finance and inventory technology.
