Wed, 20th Dec 2023
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Quorum Cyber, a high-profile cybersecurity firm operating in the UK and North America, has recently outlined considerable growth and market momentum set for 2023. The company has confirmed several expansions, including the opening of new offices in London and North America, the addition of over 20 new managed services customers spanning sectors from finance to automotive, and an increased team size at over 225 strong.

A key player in the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association and renowned as a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security, Quorum Cyber relies on harnessing the best of Microsoft's security tools as a key part of its own successful strategy. Utilising their proprietary customer platform, Clarity, alongside these tools, customers can expect world-class services. Clarity combines Microsoft's security with advanced artificial intelligence technology to allow clients to proactively interact with the service while effectively anticipating potential cyber threats.

Federico Charosky, CEO of Quorum Cyber, commented on the company's past year: "This year has been truly momentous for Quorum Cyber. We opened an office in North America, welcomed many incredibly talented professionals into our team, expanded our breadth of services, began exciting partnerships with more organizations worldwide, and held our first summit for the cybersecurity community. And we're only just getting started."

The growth in the team size included significant additions to all areas of the company, with key appointments such as Mark Lawrence taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer, and Steven Marandola accepting the position of Vice President of Innovation. Furthermore, an increase in recruitment for compliance, data security, and identity security experts was undertaken to fortify and support the company's service offerings.

Quorum Cyber further expanded its service catalogue by introducing Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), and Managed Data Security (MDS). This growth in services promises to complement the company's existing offerings within managed and professional cybersecurity.

In terms of market expansion, Quorum Cyber has made significant headways in North America, with a new operations office in Florida supported by recruits in California and several US-based sales consultants. Furthermore, the company was recognised with a variety of industry accolades throughout 2023, including finalist positions in the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards and success at the British Legal Technology Awards.

As Quorum Cyber continues to celebrate a year of achievement and global expansion, detailed future goals have been laid out. These include becoming Europe's leading Microsoft specialist partner, entering Microsoft's top 10 list of security partners globally, and aiming to become a $1 billion company by the end of 2027. Echoing these ambitions, Charosky concluded: "The new year is almost upon us and we're ready to achieve even more. While 2023 was undoubtedly a very successful year for Quorum Cyber, we're only just starting."
