Tue, 27th Jan 2026

Schneider Electric has received a series of top rankings and scores across major environmental, social and governance ratings during 2025, including benchmark positions from the World Benchmarking Alliance and continued inclusion in several widely used investor indices.

The company recorded strong results in the World Benchmarking Alliance assessments, an invitation-based benchmark that covers about 2,000 selected companies globally. Schneider Electric ranked first in the Social Benchmark and third in the Gender Benchmark.

The World Benchmarking Alliance cited performance across decent work, ethics, representation, compensation and benefits, and the prevention of violence and harassment. Schneider Electric also received an 'A' score under the World Benchmarking Alliance's ACT Core methodology. The ACT Core assessment focuses on carbon transition delivery. The company was one of nine companies globally to achieve that grade under the methodology.

EcoVadis Result

Schneider Electric posted an EcoVadis score of 87 out of 100. It received a Platinum medal. EcoVadis placed the company in the top 1% of all companies assessed globally for the sixth consecutive year.

Esther Finidori, Chief Sustainability Officer at Schneider Electric, linked the latest results to the company's current sustainability programme.

"As we reach the final year of our current Schneider Sustainability Impact program, these recognitions reflect the consistency of our approach and the progress achieved over time," said Esther Finidori, Chief Sustainability Officer, Schneider Electric. "They demonstrate that embedding sustainability at the core of our strategy and operations delivers measurable results. As we prepare for the next phase of our journey, we remain focused on raising the bar and bringing along our stakeholders in this collective sustainability transformation."
