Org Group acquires EDR to boost European digital expertise
Org Group has acquired Belgium-based Enterprise Digital Resources (EDR), further expanding its European capabilities in specialist digital and technology sectors.
The integration of EDR, a Brussels consultancy and resourcing firm, into Org Group's global network will bolster the multinational's reach across Europe and support its ongoing push into digital transformation and enterprise technology services.
EDR focuses on supplying highly specialised technology talent, serving clients in Belgium, France, the UK, Ireland, and other European markets. The firm specialises particularly in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other widely adopted technology platforms.
Org Group operates in 12 countries and employs more than 3,000 people. Its subsidiaries include the talent services firm Morgan McKinley, business process managed services provider Abtran, and advisory and technology consultancy Org. The strategic purchase of EDR is seen as reinforcing Org Group's access to a Europe-wide network of high-skilled consultants.
The need for digital transformation across industries has heightened demand for such expertise. Org Group has responded to these changes by building out its organisational engineering offerings through people, processes, and technology, helping clients address management and resource challenges shaped by evolving digital and market landscapes.
Expanding European presence
The acquisition follows Org Group's recent purchase of technology recruitment business Venturi, extending its reach further in Europe and into the United States. With EDR's integration, Org Group is set to increase its ability to serve large-scale enterprise projects that require specialist talent for complex technology roll-outs and digital initiatives.
EDR's primary services support integrated corporate systems such as ERP, Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Business Intelligence (BI). The company's offering spans full project team resourcing to on-demand consulting for technology-critical projects.
This strategic move is designed to strengthen Org Group's capabilities at a time when businesses are accelerating their digital initiatives and seeking talent with experience in software, data management, and tech-driven process optimisation.
EDR's deep domain expertise is a natural fit for Org Group. This complements our capacity to deliver impactful digital and organisational transformation through the right mix of strategy, systems and people.
Seb O'Connell, Chief Executive Officer of Org Group, stated his view that the acquisition aligns closely with Org Group's approach to transformation and resourcing.
James Parker, Director of Enterprise Digital Resources, commented on their shared values and the added capability the deal brings. He said:
Org Group shares our belief that skills and talent are the engine behind successful transformation. Joining the Group enables us to scale our impact and support more organisations in navigating the future of enterprise technology.
Portfolio and services
Org Group's service portfolio covers organisational strategy, managed business process outsourcing, and international talent solutions. Its core principle is to connect specialist talent with companies facing complex operational and technical challenges, supporting clients in both private and public sectors.
With brands such as Morgan McKinley and Abtran, Org Group covers recruitment, executive search, business process management, and technology consultation. Most recently, the acquisition of Venturi has further expanded its expertise in data, analytics, software engineering, ERP, and CRM, reflecting Org Group's broader ambition to be at the forefront of organisational design and digital performance.
The addition of EDR builds on this platform and is aimed at providing companies with better access to specialist technology talent as they pursue large-scale business change programmes, modernise IT infrastructure, or undertake new ERP and enterprise software deployments in Europe and beyond.
