Pluxee launches UK app to boost employee savings & wellbeing
Employee benefits provider Pluxee has launched an employee experience platform in the UK, aiming to help organisations address employee financial pressures amid ongoing operational cost challenges.
Financial challenges
With UK employees continuing to face pressures from the rising cost of living and static disposable incomes, organisations are seeking new ways to support staff without increasing payroll expenses. The new platform integrates benefits such as real-time savings, cashback, and wellbeing support into a single hub. According to Pluxee, the solution allows for up to 15% cashback at more than 80 retailers, including supermarkets, through the Pluxee Card.
Employers and their staff can also access savings via salary sacrifice schemes covering Green Car, Cycle to Work, and annual leave purchasing. Pluxee estimates that an employee earning the average UK salary could save as much as GBP £1,200 per year through discounts at over 500 retailers and gyms.
Centralised experience
The platform is accessible through the new Pluxee App, consolidating all benefits into a mobile-first interface. This centralisation is designed to simplify the employee experience and make it easier for individuals to access multiple forms of support, including Employee Assistance Programs. These services include dedicated helplines for menopause, mental health, relationships, stress, and financial wellbeing.
HR management
The system also provides HR teams with tools to track employee engagement in real time, offering a consolidated view of adoption and usage rates. Recognition and reward functions, such as bonus top-ups and team awards, are managed through the same dashboard. This enables HR professionals to personalise offerings and adapt programmes throughout the employee lifecycle.
The platform's analytics enable organisations to measure the impact of their benefits strategies, supporting talent retention and engagement efforts without adding a significant administrative burden.
Leadership perspective
"We're launching this platform at a time when employees are under more financial pressure than ever before, and employers are being asked to do more with less. Our goal is simple: to make it easier for organisations to support their people in ways that are meaningful, measurable, and sustainable. By bringing savings, wellbeing, and recognition into one place, we want to help businesses show up for their teams in the moments that matter most," said Jonathan Attia, CEO, Pluxee UK.
Attia said: "HR teams are under increasing pressure to boost engagement, reduce turnover, and retain talent, all while navigating fragmented, outdated systems. We built this platform to eliminate those pain points and make HR's job easier. By consolidating the disparate systems into one intuitive solution, HR leaders can measure adoption and deliver insights that demonstrate real impact. And with the administrative burden lifted, HR teams can focus on what truly matters - developing AI-ready talent, boosting productivity and building a future-focused, inclusive culture."
