Gr4vy & Ecommpay link to streamline global payments

Thu, 22nd Jan 2026

Payments orchestration provider Gr4vy has partnered with payments platform Ecommpay to offer merchants access to a vast array of payment methods through a single integration.

The agreement links Gr4vy's orchestration layer with Ecommpay's catalogue of payment options. According to the companies, merchants will now be able to offer cards, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods across different markets without the need to manage separate connections for each individual method.

Gr4vy said the partnership expands the payment methods available through its platform. Ecommpay said it provides access to more than 100 alternative payment methods alongside card payments.

Payment options

The companies listed Apple Pay and Google Pay among the options available through the partnership. They also highlighted regional and international alternative payment methods, including iDEAL, BLIK, Bancontact, Trustly, and P24.

Gr4vy stated that merchants increasingly face heightened customer expectations regarding local payment choices. The company also pointed to the complexities of routing decisions for each transaction across various markets and methods.

Ecommpay said its platform also includes acquiring services in multiple markets. It said it offers global and local acquiring, payment processing and orchestration through a single API.

Single integration

Gr4vy positioned the partnership as part of its merchant focus and its approach to selecting routes for payment processing. It said access to a broader range of methods gives merchants more choice when offering checkout options to customers.

John Lunn, Founder and CEO of Gr4vy, described the company's strategy for merchants and payment choice.

"At Gr4vy, we are on a mission to empower merchants, enabling them to grow their business by offering flexible, transparent payment options that boost customer loyalty and profitability," said John Lunn, Founder and CEO of Gr4vy. "With a like-minded mission, Ecommpay is the perfect fit to expand our offering and deliver added choice, convenience and scalability for every end customer, every time."

Ecommpay framed the agreement around merchant access to multiple payment methods through a single connection.

"The Ecommpay suite of innovative and accessible payment solutions is making it easier for merchants of all sizes to trade locally and globally. Our new partnership with Gr4vy provides its merchant customers with access to multiple payment methods through one simple integration. Not only does this remove complexity for merchants, it also reduces costs and minimises friction for end customers whilst ensuring every payment is secure and compliant, improving the customer journey and boosting loyalty," said Roy Blokker, Head of Strategic Sales, Ecommpay.

Platform roadmap

Ecommpay said it continues to add new product areas to its platform. It listed open banking, recurring billing, Click to Pay, and Bacs Direct Debits as features it is building into its platform.

The company said this approach reduces reliance on third-party systems for merchants that use its services. It also described the offering as part of a single API-based integration model.

The partnership arrives as payment providers compete on the breadth of payment method coverage and integration models for merchants selling across borders. Digital wallets and local bank-based methods have expanded in several European markets, and merchants often need to support a mix of card and non-card options during checkout.

Gr4vy and Ecommpay did not disclose the commercial terms of the partnership. They also provided no details regarding merchant rollouts, pricing, or which geographies will be prioritised first. The companies stated that the integration gives Gr4vy merchants access to Ecommpay's payment methods across multiple regions.
